Layover Life: Bangkok, Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand is always a great place to visit. There are so many things to do here, that each time I come by I get up to something different!

Originally I was supposed to operate the direct flight, but I ended up swapping with a colleague and did the BKK-HKG-BKK flight instead. This means that from Dubai, United Arab Emirates I flew to Bangkok, Thailand and received a 24 hour layover. After this rest, I operated a ‘turnaround’ flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong, China. This means that on this same day, I returned to BKK and had another 24 hour layover before flying back to Dubai.

On our first day in Thailand, some of the crew and I hit up MBK Shopping Mall. They have everything you can imagine from affordable bags, clothing, makeup and accessories to food and electronics. On the second day we returned to MBK, but not before we stopped at a place called the Unicorn Café. The crew have been talking about this place a lot recently; I just had to check it out for myself!

Unfortunately, it was very busy so we didn’t get to stay long. I wasn’t able to try the food either because of the lack of seating, but I did grab a cotton candy flavoured beverage on my way out. I can’t say it tasted very good, but hey, at least my pictures turned out alright?! For those of you who haven’t heard of it, everything in the café is unicorn themed; from the food to the décor. You can even wear a unicorn onesie while you eat!

If you haven’t been to Bangkok, Thailand, be sure to check out my latest YouTube video and ride with me through the streets on a tuk tuk! Remember to subscribe to my channel while you’re at it! 🙂

      Hello,

As long as you are not taking what I say out of context and linking to my articles, I have no problem with that!

      Kind regards,
      Kelsey
