I recently teased on Instagram that I was up to something big, and now I finally get to share with you that I’m once again turning my eyes skyward with a new project- ActionFlight!
ActionFlight will take aviation adventure tourism to new heights, offering unique adrenaline-fuelled experiences for residents and tourists in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah. From hot air ballooning to skydiving and aerobatic flying, ActionFlight will provide an exclusive range of thrilling aviation activities under one operation, giving guests the opportunity to take in the Emirates’ spectacular coastlines, soaring mountain ranges, rich terracotta desert dunes, and lush mangroves from up to 15,000ft in the air.
On Dec. 2, 2021 ActionFlight announced its arrival in Ras Al Khaimah with a spectacular tethered hot air balloon display at Tower Links Golf Club to celebrate the 50th UAE National Day. The event marked ActionFlight’s official debut in the Emirate, coinciding with the country’s Golden Jubilee festivities.
Ras Al Khaimah will also be the base for ActionFlight’s VERTICAL training, a specialized program in Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), which is now mandated for all new commercial, private jet, and airline pilots, both locally and internationally.
ActionFlight will officially commence operations early next year, contributing to the transformation of Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism industry into a sustainable driver of economic growth.
