Brunch and Stay at Jumeriah Beach Hotel

Usually, I’m not one to enjoy luxury and extravagance. As much as I may let on that I do on Instagram, I would much prefer to stay in, watch a movie and eat an entire pizza to myself rather than to go out, be social and brave the world around me. Perhaps this is because I travel too much, or maybe it’s because I’m constantly surrounded by people and need some alone time. Whatever the reason, I’m glad I got off the couch last Friday to visit the Jumeriah Beach Hotel and their Kitchen Connection brunch to avail their brunch and stay offer.

The Jumeriah Beach Hotel rests along the Arabian Gulf, boasting uninterrupted views of the Burj Al Arab Jumeriah, the beach and its clear blue seas. My friend and I were very fortunate to be granted an ocean deluxe suite during our stay, that presented us with a calm and inviting ambience, as well as breathtaking views of this scenic landscape. The amenities; a widescreen interactive HD LCD TV and separate walk-in shower and bath, made us feel like royals, and the welcome gift that the lovely staff left in our room had us at a loss for words!

After settling into our suite, we made our way to Kitchen Connection. It is one of twelve unique dining experiences available to guests at Jumeriah Beach Hotel. Serving a playful mix of global flavours, their food offerings spanned from the Middle East, to Asia Pacific, Africa, Asia, America and Europe. A wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were also available to brunch goers, our favourite being the Prosecco infused with a strawberry twist.

Unlike most brunches I’ve been to, the atmosphere at Kitchen Connection was very pleasant. The crowd wasn’t loud and everyone was professional; well-dressed and well mannered. I actually got to have a conversation with my friend sitting across from me, and I didn’t have to flag down our host for a single beverage! I also noticed that there were quite a few families and young couples, making it the perfect brunch venue for guests of all ages.

After filling up on the delicious eats, we moved poolside to further take in the Burj Al Arab views. Despite the Dubai heat, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind before enjoying a beverage at Uptown Bar; another beautiful venue that provided us with more breathtaking views of the sea, as well as the Palm and the city.

For dinner, we opted to make use of what the ocean deluxe suite had to offer. In typical Cabin Crew style, we decided to order room service. With our hair on top of our heads in messy buns, and bodies wrapped in the luxurious JBH bath robes, we feasted on pizza, kung pao chicken, rice, hummus and grilled halloumi cheese from the comfort of our king sized beds before calling it a night.

The Arabian elegance and exquisite views of the Jumeriah Beach Hotel are truly five star, but the level of customer service we experienced is what really made our short stay here that much more luxurious. We arrived feeling likes VIPs, and we left feeling the same way- with smiles on our faces and a promise to return again.

If you’re looking to spoil yourself with a similar experience, the Jumeriah Beach Hotel’s brunch and stay offer includes the following benefits:

  • 10% off Best Available Rate
  • Daily breakfast
  • Friday Brunch at Kitchen Connection for two inclusive of house beverages and sparkling grape
  • Children under 16 years and below dine complimentary
  • Unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark and private beach
  • Access to Talise Spa and The J Club
  • Complimentary wi-fi access

We really enjoyed our time here and are thankful to the Jumeriah Beach Hotel for their invitation to join them.

Wow this place looks amazing! Need to stay here when in Dubai! As a side note, I love your curls! Did you use a curling wand? I have never found the perfect wand yet.

      Hi Nadia,

      Apologies for the late reply!

It was a beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend it. I curl my hair with a wand. Can’t remember the exact brand, but I’ll be purchasing a new one soon! Lol

      Safe travels,
      Kelsey
