“Progress is rarely a straight line. There are many bumps and turns in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead”
Thank you to those who reached out and wished me well after I shared my Cabin Crew redundancy news two weeks ago. I’ve been overwhelmed by all of the kind messages of love, support and encouragement, and am working towards getting back to each and every one of you!
Today, I wanted to share this short video. The two trees shown are Ghaf trees, the national tree of the United Arab Emirates. They are drought-tolerant, so they are able to withstand the harsh desert environment and still remain green. Dubbed as the “stability of the desert”, they represent many values such as peace and adaptability.
I hope this clip will remind you that despite the hardships we may face in our lifetime, we are capable of overcoming any obstacle. Believe in yourself, and stay positive!
