Life after redundancy: Cabin Crew business project

Where to begin?

Life changed so quickly for many of us in 2020. I’ll never forget how I felt when I received that dreaded email informing me I wouldn’t be flying any longer! Despite the challenges my colleagues and I faced with our redundancies, each and every one of us did our best to move forward.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be introducing you to a few of them who persevered during these difficult times and began their own businesses. I’ll be referring to these articles as “Crew4Crew,” a nod to aviation-themed Facebook Group “Crew2Crew,” notorious for poking fun at our careers.

I’ve already shared some of their endeavors via LinkedIn and Instagram, and I will continue to share their stories on my blog too.

My friend @samchui is also getting in on the action! We have put together a video for his YouTube channel that features 5 of my former colleagues and their inspiring stories. It will be published later this week!

I hope their passions will push you to accomplish your dreams.

Remember, you are capable of overcoming any obstacle. Believe in yourself, and stay positive.
